P. J. Perry
Born in Calgary, Alberta, P.J. has become recognized by critics, colleagues, and listeners as being one of North America's premier saxophonists. While residing in Vancouver, Toronto, New York and Edmonton, he has shared the stage with countless jazz greats such as Dizzy Gillespie, Woody Shaw, Michel Legrand, Pepper Adams, Kenny Wheeler, Tom Harrell, The Boss Brass etc.
P.J. has also performed with the Edmonton Symphony, Calgary Philharmonic, Alberta Pops Orchestra, Hamilton Philharmonic, the Montreal Symphony, Kitchener-Waterloo, and the Vancouver Island symphony. The Jazz Report magazine has also honored him for 7 years straight as the critics' choice for Best Alto Saxophonist.
