Alternative Soul Singer Katherine Penfold is set to release her Justin Time Records album debut with Sweetest Thing featuring her take on Roberta Flack’s timeless “Feel Like Makin’ Love”, a blissed-out collaboration with Moonchild’s Amber Navran (“Far & Away”), and “Better” co-written and mixed by Grammy award winning producer Chin Injeti (Drake, Eminem). With a voice reminiscent of a young Billie Holiday, the Vancouver based singer-songwriter worked closely with co-producer David Sikula and a team of notable musicians and co-producers (Eyelovebrandon, Amber Navran from Moonchild and William Bowers) to create, according to Penfold “exactly the record I wanted to for the amazing community of neo-soul artists and listeners.”
